Cairngorm Nos 1-10 Building Societies Investment Trusts plc

The Boards of Cairngorm Nos 1-10 Building Societies Investment Trusts plc (the
Companies) have been notified that on 14th June 2001 Exeter Equity Income Fund
bought 5,000 units of the ordinary shares of the Companies. Following this
transaction, portfolios under the management of Exeter Asset Management
Limited hold in aggregate 45,000 units of the ordinary shares of the
Companies, representing 3.22% of the Companies' issued ordinary share capital.
