Blue Planet Financials Growth & Income Investment Trusts Nos. 1-10 ("the Companies") As a result of the changes in the Listing Rules defining the requirements for the independence of directors, Mr Philip Court has announced his intention to resign as a Director of the Companies with effect from 31 March 2005. The Board would like thank Mr Court for his contribution to the development of the Companies and wish him well in the future. The Directors of the Companies announce the appointment of Mr Kenneth Murray to the Board, with effect from 31 March 2005. Mr Murray holds 311,965 units (311,965 Ordinary shares in each of the 10 companies) representing a 23.1% interest in the capital of each of the Companies. Mr Murray, aged 46, was previously on the Board of Directors of the Companies serving from their incorporation in January 1996 to June 2003. He is the founder, Chairman and Chief Executive of Blue Planet Investment Management Ltd, the Companies' Investment Manager. He is a Director of the Blue Planet Worldwide Financials Investment Trust plc, the Blue Planet European Financials Investment Trust plc and Blue Planet Investments Ltd. He commenced his career in the City of London as an Investment Analyst and was Senior Merchant Banking and Financial Sector Analyst at Greenwell Montagu Securities Limited. He held similar posts at Sheppards & Chase Stockbrokers Limited and Wood Mackenzie & Co Limited and was a director of Fulton Prebon International Limited (one of the world's largest money brokers). In 1990, he founded The Bank of Edinburgh and was managing director until its sale in 1994. He was Chief Executive of Murray Financial Corporation plc until July 2003. END.
