Bloomsbury Publishing Plc was advised on 13 April 2006 that Louis Baum, spouse
of Liz Calder, an Executive Director,  sold 2,348 ordinary shares of 1.25 pence
each in the Company at a price of 346 pence per share on 10 April 2006. 
Following the sale Ms Calder remains interested in 27,019 ordinary shares in the
Company.
