The Company confirms that it received the approval of shareholders for all the
Resolutions put to the AGM on 22nd March 2000, including the resolutions for
the continuation in being of the Company as an investment trust, the renewal
of the share buy-back authority and the amendments to the Company's Articles
of Association to enable it to requalify as an investment company.
