BlackRock, with effect from 10:00pm on 29th September 2006, the Company
Secretary for Merrill Lynch World Mining Trust plc changed from Merrill Lynch
Investment Managers Group Services Limited to BlackRock Investment Management
(UK) Limited.



The Investment Manager for Merrill Lynch World Mining Trust plc has changed its
name from Merrill Lynch Investment Managers Limited to BlackRock Investment
Management (UK) Limited with effect from the same date.
