S.C.G. Stevens Appointed Non-executive Director

Mr S. C. G. Stevens has today been appointed as a non-executive director of
The Throgmorton Trust PLC.  Mr. Stevens, 47, is currently also on the Board of
Invesco City and Commercial Investment Trust PLC.  He has extensive experience
of both industry and fund management.  Between 1987 and 1993 he was a UK fund
manager and director of Invesco Asset Management Ltd.
