FORscene in the US - Fremantle adopt the web's video toolkit

Fremantle uses FORscene within production workflow

London, 4th June 2008 - Forbidden Technologies today announced that FremantleMedia, one of the largest creators and producers of entertainment brands in the world, has adopted FORscene in its US based productions for wide-area review.

FORscene's ease of navigation and account management system has allowed Fremantle's production team to upload cuts of episodes for America's Got Talent Series 3 for review and approval by the programme producers based across the world.

FremantleMedia is owned by the RTL Group, Europe's largest television and radio broadcast company. Fremantle North America produces some of America's most popular television programmes including American Idol.  America's Got Talent Series 2, peaking at 13.9 million viewers, was the best performing show in its NBC time slot. Fremantle prides itself on developing and producing some of the most innovative and watched shows on TV.

Fremantle's initial use of FORscene is to provide wide-area review access to production staff throughout productions. The plan is for FORscene to be used across its production workflow by using it for uploading timecoded content directly from Avid, for logging and rough cut in FORscene before auto-conforming back in Avid for on-line editing.
