Appointment of Director


Further to the announcement on 10 January 2007 Amco Corporation plc is pleased
to confirm that Peter Hems and John Gordon have now joined the Board. At a
Board meeting on 5 April, Peter Hems was appointed Executive Chairman, replacing
interim Chairman, Mike Speakman.

Furthermore, the Company is pleased to announce that Mike Speakman has agreed
to remain at the Company as a Non-executive Director contrary to the
announcement on 10 January 2007 which stated his intention to retire.
