Appointment of Director


Amco Corporation plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Fareham
as a Director with immediate effect. Stephen (aged 56 years) has been managing
director Billington Structures Limited, the group's principal structural steel
subsidiary, since 1991. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution
of Structural Engineers and a member of the Institution of Occupational Safety
and Health. He was President of the industry's trade association the British
Constructional Steelwork Association (BCSA) from 2000 to 2003.


In addition to Amco Group companies, Stephen is a director of BCSA Ltd and
during the past five years Stephen has been, but is no longer, a director of
Steel Construction Certification Scheme Ltd.


There are no further matters to be disclosed under the AIM Rules.
