Director Shareholding


The Company was notified yesterday that D.M. Jackson, Director, yesterday sold
his entire holding of 6,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 450
pence per share.  These shares were acquired by Mr Jackson upon the exercise of
share options granted under the Amco Corporation plc Employee Share Ownership
Plan.  The terms of these options require that such shares can only be sold to
the Amco Corporation plc Employee Share Ownership Plan Trust at a price equal to
the average of the previous 10 days closing prices.  Accordingly, the Amco
Corporation plc Employee Share Ownership Plan Trust has acquired these shares
from Mr Jackson and now holds a total of 1,279,819 shares representing 9.89 per
cent of the issued share capital.
