Resignation of Director

Berry Birch & Noble plc ('the Company') announces that John Owen has resigned
as Finance Director with effect from 30 March 2001. The Company has identified
a new Finance Director and it is expected that his appointment will be
approved by the Board in the near future when a further announcement will be
made.
