Directors' Notification of Dealing in Shares

Berry Birch and Noble plc ('the Company') announces that it received
notification today of the following Directors' share dealings:

1) On 9 June 2000 John Owen, Director, bought 42,000 shares in the Company at
a price of 108p per share;

2) On 9 June 2000 Hazel Montague, Director, sold 5,000 shares in the Company
at a price of 108p per share;

3) On 9 June 2000 Derek Berry, Director, and his wife each sold 10,000 shares 
in the Company at a price of 108p per share;

4) On 12 June 2000 John Owen, Director, bought 8,000 shares in the Company at
a price of 112p per share.
