                  Financial Services Business Transfer - Update

Further to our announcement on 26 February 2004, BBB have continued to be in
correspondence with the FSA over the liquidation of Berry Birch & Noble
Financial Services Limited ('BBNFS') and the transfer of BBNFS's business to
Berry Birch & Noble Financial Planning Limited.  The FSA is examining the final
details of these transactions and has directed that no payments or distributions
should be made by BBNFS to other BBB Group companies without the FSA's
permission.  BBB will continue to assist the FSA with its enquiries.
