Court confirmation of reduction of share premium account

Big Yellow Group Plc, (the "Company"), announces that the reduction of the share
premium account of the Company by £65,000,000, detailed in a circular sent to
shareholders on 16 July 2002, was earlier today confirmed by the Court. The
order of the Court will become effective tomorrow, 5 September 2002.
