Repurchase of shares

Big Yellow Group Plc announces that on 23 October 2003 it purchased for
cancellation 150,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of 83 pence per share 
from Cazenove & Co. Ltd.

These shares were purchased pursuant to an instruction given by Big Yellow Group
to Cazenove on 30 September 2003.
