Big Yellow launches new website and on-line merchandising.

Big Yellow Group PLC (the 'Group'), the AIM listed self
storage company, today announces that it has launched a new
website and that it has commenced sales of its merchandise
products over the internet, to both business and domestic
customers.

The Group currently sells a range of packaging material
including boxes, removal crates etc. from its stores.  Until
recently the majority of sales were linked to customers using
the Group's stores, but more recently a significant proportion
has been generated by non-storage customers.

There will be approximately 30 products available on line,
including four 'storage packs' which will include a range of
materials necessary for moving house.

The service will be available for delivery within three
working days throughout mainland UK.  It is anticipated that
if the service is successful the range of goods will be
expanded further.

A significant proportion of the marketing of this service will
be piggybacked on the marketing of the core business, self
storage, although some additional marketing expenditure will
be incurred.
