Big Yellow Group PLC (the 'Company') has been informed, pursuant to DTR 5.1.2R of the FSA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules that, following the disposal of shares on 4 January 2012, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings, Inc. had a total interest in the Company of 4,290,087 shares representing 3.3% of total voting rights.
