2002 pursuant to Section 198 of the Companies Act 1985 that Henderson Global
Investors Limited and its fellow subsidiaries, acting as agents for its
discretionary clients, purchased 500,000 Ordinary Shares of 10p each in Big
Yellow Group Plc, thereby increasing its total shareholding to 16,219,298,
representing 14.01 per cent of the total issued share capital.
