Following the announcement in 30 January 2003 regarding the management structure
of Big Yellow Group plc ("Company"), the Company announces that Nick Vetch has
been appointed Executive Chairman with immediate effect.  David White has
stepped down from Non Executive Chairman to Non Executive Deputy Chairman and
will continue in his role as Senior Non Executive Director chairing the audit,
remuneration and nomination committees.
