This announcement replaces the Directors shareholding announcement which was 
released yesterday 14th July 2005 at 14:40 under RNS number 8919O in which 
the prices previously stated were incorrect.

Big Yellow Group plc (the 'Company') announces that it was informed yesterday
that Stephen Homer, a director of the Company, acquired 120,000 ordinary shares
at 188.6 pence per share on 13 July 2005, and acquired 950 ordinary shares at
185.5 pence per share on 12 July 2005. This increases his total beneficial
holding to 1,128,650 ordinary shares, representing 1.12% of the issued share
capital of the Company
