Big Yellow Group PLC ("Company") announces that it was informed today that
Philip Burks, an executive director of the Company, sold 750,000 ordinary shares
at 128 pence per share on 31 March 2004.  This results in a total holding in the
Company by Philip Burks of 10,628,000 ordinary shares in the Company.



The Company also announces that it was informed today that David Ross, a non
executive director of the Company, bought 750,000 ordinary shares at 128 pence
per share on 31 March 2004.  This results in a total beneficial holding by David
Ross of 3,182,906 ordinary Shares in the Company.
