Big Yellow Group plc (the "Company") announces that it was informed today that
Stephen Homer, a director of the Company, yesterday acquired 4,350 ordinary
shares at 85 pence per share for his self administered pension fund.  This
increases his total beneficial holding to 836,230 ordinary shares in the
Company.
