Directors shareholding

Big Yellow Group plc ("Company") announces that it was informed on 29 November
2002 that Nicholas Vetch, a director of the Company, sold 309,600 ordinary
shares on 29 November 2002 at 83 pence per share. This results in a total
beneficial holding by Nicholas Vetch of 12,145,400 ordinary shares.

The Company also announces that it was informed on 29 November 2002 that Philip
Burks, a director of the Company, sold 550,400 ordinary shares today at 83 pence
per share. This results in a total beneficial holding by Philip Burks of
11,904,600 ordinary shares.
