Director's shareholding


Big Yellow Group PLC (the 'Company') announces that James Gibson and Adrian Lee,
Executive directors of the Company, both exercised options to acquire 27,000
Ordinary Shares at 102 pence per share on Wednesday 22nd March. These options
were granted to them under the Big Yellow Group PLC Approved Share Option Plan
on 15th May 2002.

Following these transactions, Mr Gibson's total holding in the Company is
2,613,000 shares, representing 2.54% of the issued share capital of the Company
and Mr Lee's total holding in the Company is 818,880 shares, representing 0.80%
of the issued share capital of the Company.
