Big Yellow Group plc (the 'Company') announces that Philip Burks, a non-
executive director, yesterday sold 1,600,000 shares at 420 pence per share. His
wife Davina Burks purchased 1,000,000 shares at 420 pence per share.

The transactions reduces Mr Burks' and his connected partners' beneficial
holding to 7,667,000 shares representing 6.64% of the issued share capital of
the Company.
