Big Yellow Group plc (the 'Company') announces that the following disposals by
Directors of the Company of ordinary shares of 10 pence each took place today
at 483 pence per share:

(1)  These shares were acquired today through the exercise of options
     with an exercise price of 81.5 pence per share.

(2)  These shares were acquired today through the exercise of options
     with an exercise price of 100.0 pence per share.

The Company also announces that David Ross, a non-executive director, today purchased
277,000 shares at 483 pence per share.  This increases his beneficial holding to
11,354,140 shares, representing 9.92% of the issued share capital of the Company.
