Appointment of a Non-Executive Independent Director

The Company announces the appointment of Huw Evans as an additional non-executive independent director to the board of directors, with effect from 26 August 2010.

Huw, a resident of Guernsey, is a chartered accountant and former partner of Phoenix Securities Limited. Huw has also acted as a non-executive director of Guernsey-based companies and funds including, European Capital Limited and of KSK Emerging India Energy Fund Limited. Huw's full biography will shortly be available on the Company's website www.bhmacro.com.

There are no disclosures to be made in respect of LR 9.6.13 (2-6) other than those listed below. A list of all of Huw's current directorships in publicly quoted companies and in the past 5 years are noted below as required by LR 9.6.13 (1).

The directors welcome Huw to the board and announce that Huw will also be joining the Company's audit committee with effect from 26 August 2010. Following Huw's appointment Talmai Morgan has resigned from the audit committee meaning the committee is now comprised wholly of non-executive directors that are considered to be independent under the tests contained in Listing Rule 15.2.12A. The board thanks Talmai for his contribution to the audit committee and confirms that Talmai remains a non-executive director on the board of directors.
