Transaction in own shares

 

The Company announces that on 31 August 2018 it purchased 91,917 of its ordinary shares of 5p each ("Shares") through UBS, in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 6 September 2017.

The Company intends to hold the purchased Shares in Treasury.

 

Following the purchase of these Shares, the Company holds 8,582,771 of its Shares in Treasury and has 131,574,412 Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares).  This is the figure which should be used by shareholders as the denominator when determining whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
