Posting of 2012 Annual Report & Financial Statements

and AGM Notice and Update re Ballek Work Plan

Beowulf (AIM: BEM; Aktietorget: BEO), the mineral exploration company focused on developing its Kallak North and Kallak South iron ore deposits in northern Sweden, announces that further to the release on 28 February 2013 of its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2012, its full Annual Report and Financial Statements incorporating a Notice of Annual General Meeting ("AGM") are now available to download from the Company's website at: www.beowulfmining.com and are being posted to shareholders today.

The Company's forthcoming AGM will be held at 1.30 p.m. on Thursday 4 July 2013 at Juxon House, 100 St Paul's Churchyard, London EC4M 8BU.

The audited financial statements show an increase of approximately £248,000 in the reported loss for the year ended 31 December 2012 compared to the previously announced unaudited figure, due principally to the impairment expense incurred on the relinquishment of certain exploration permits, as announced on 8 May 2013, offset by, inter alia, exchange rate differences. Accordingly, the group's reported loss for the year has increased to £1,295,692 compared to the previously announced unaudited figure of £1,047,486.

Ballek Work Plan

Further to the announcement of 8 May 2013, the Company is also pleased to announce that no objections were received in respect of the work plan notified and disseminated by its subsidiary, Wayland Copper Limited ("Wayland Copper"), in respect of the 3,000m drill programme intended to be conducted on defined targets at both its Ballek nr2 and nr3 permit areas. Accordingly, the work plan is now legally effective/valid and Wayland Copper can commence its fieldwork as planned in late 2013.
