Directors' Notification of Dealing in Shares

The company has today been informed that the executors of the estate of Mr K
Bell (who include Mr D S Bramley, a director of the company) have today sold
286,386 (0.26%) Bellway plc 12.5p ordinary shares at a price of 245.5p per
share.

Following the above transaction, Mr D S Bramley, only in his capacity as an
executor of the estate of Mr K Bell, remains beneficially interested in
616,700 (0.56%) Bellway plc 12.5p ordinary shares (903,086; 0.83%).

Mr D S Bramley's other interests in the share capital of the company remain
unchanged.

In addition, the company has also today been informed that the executors of
the estate of Mr A K Bell (who include Mr P J Stoker, a director of the
company) have today sold 531,853 (0.49%) Bellway plc 12.5p ordinary shares.

Following the above transaction, Mr P J Stoker, only in his capacity as an
executor of the estate of Mr A K Bell, remains beneficially interested in nil
(0.0%) Bellway plc 12.5p ordinary shares. (531,853;0.49%).

Mr P J Stoker's other interests in the share capital of the company remain
unchanged.
