Pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.14 and 9.6.13(6), the board of BB Healthcare Trust plc (the 'Company') reports that Professor Justin Stebbing, one of its directors, has been suspended from medical practice by the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service ('MPTS'), a statutory committee of the General Medical Council, for a period of nine months.

Professor Stebbing has informed the board of BB Healthcare Trust plc that he is resigning as a non-Executive Director with immediate effect and will therefore not be seeking re-election at the Company's Annual General Meeting.

It is understood that full details of the findings of fact, verdict, sanctions and written judgment will be available on the MPTS website in due course.

On behalf of the board, Randeep Grewal as Chairman, said: 'We appreciate the significant contribution Professor Stebbing has made to the development and success of the Company. That said, following the MPTS ruling Professor Stebbing has chosen to step down from the board. We wish Justin well for the future.'
