                                 PRESS NOTICE

MARCH TRAFFIC STATISTICS TO BE RELEASED APRIL 18, 2001

British Airways' March traffic statistics will be released on Wednesday April
18, 2001, rather than Wednesday April 4, 2001.

The change of date has been caused by late and slow processing of traffic data
in the wake of last week's computer problems.

April traffic statistics will be released as normal on Thursday May 3, 2001.
