British Airways PLC 27 November 2007 British Airways Plc applies to cease being a reporting issuer in Canada London - November 27, 2007 - British Airways Plc announced today that it has applied to Canadian securities regulatory authorities for permission to be deemed to cease being a reporting issuer in Canada. British Airways' American Depository Receipts were voluntarily de-listed from the Toronto Stock Exchange in December 2001 and have not traded on a stock exchange in Canada since that time. If released from its obligations as a reporting issuer in Canada, British Airways Plc will continue to publish its continuous disclosure documents, including its annual report and accounts, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in the United Kingdom, including rules of the Financial Services Authority and the London Stock Exchange. Holders of British Airways Plc securities resident in Canada will continue to receive copies of continuous disclosure documents that are required to be delivered to security holders in the United Kingdom, in the same manner and at the same time as is required under applicable laws and regulations in the United Kingdom, including rules of the Financial Services Authority and the London Stock Exchange.
