            Result of Extraordinary General Meeting

BATM Advanced Communications Limited ('BATM' or the 'Company')
announces that the resolutions concerning the acquisition of
Telco Systems Inc ('Telco') and the appointment of Daniel
Goldman as a director of the Company, were duly passed by
Shareholders earlier today.  As part of the consideration
payable for Telco, 960,000 new ordinary shares of BATM have
been issued to World Access Inc.  Trading in these shares are
expected to commence tomorrow, 5 April 2000 and the
acquisition is expected to complete shortly.
