                            DIRECTOR'S SHAREHOLDING



The Board has been informed by Daniel Goldman, a non-executive director of BATM,
that as of 17 December 2002 he ceased to have an interest in 3,000,000 BATM
shares. Daniel Goldman held his interest through Vertical Investments Limited 
('Vertical').



As a result of a number of transactions Mr Goldman ceased to have any interest
in Vertical, for which he received £3,960. Vertical continues to hold the BATM
shares referred to herein. Accordingly Mr Goldman no longer has his prior
interest in 3,000,000 BATM ordinary shares which shares represent 0.78% of the
issued share capital of BATM.



The Board was notified of the full details of this transaction and Daniel
Goldman's interest in BATM on 6 May 2003.
