Notification of Interest in ordinary Shares in providence Resources P.l.c.



We are duly authorised agents of the persons whose names are set out below under
the heading Notifying Party.

Purpose of this Letter

We refer to previous notifications of interests and set out below an updated
schedule of interests and details of numbers of shares in which the interests
exist and the names of the registered holders -

•         in fulfilment of the obligation imposed by section 67 of the Companies
Act, 1990 to notify Providence Resources plc of the interests in shares, or any
alteration in the particulars relating thereto, of each Notifying Party;

•         in fulfilment of the obligation imposed by section 91 of the Companies
Act, 1990 to notify the Irish Stock Exchange of interests in the Share Capital
of Providence Resources plc as referred to below; and

•         in fulfilment of any other obligation imposed by law or regulation to
disclose to the addressees of this letter any of the information contained in
it.

We confirm that the percentage interest of the Notifying Parties in the Company
has not altered in respect of these adjusted numbers.  The additional shares
included in this notification are those shares which were issued on exercise of
Warrants by Indexia Holdings Limited.
