                     PROVIDENCE APPOINTS CENKOS AS UK BROKER

Providence Resources P.l.c., which announced that it will be listing on AIM on
Friday, 24 June 2005, is pleased to confirm the appointment of Cenkos Securities
Limited as its UK Broker.

Davy continue to act as Irish Broker, and are, for the purposes of the AIM
listing, the Nominated Advisor.
