BARRATT DEVELOPMENTS PLC

DIRECTORATE CHANGE

Further to the announcement made on 7th May 2009, Barratt Developments PLC ('Barratt') announces that David Thomas will be appointed as Group Finance Director and Executive Director with effect from 21st July 2009, replacing Mark Pain who will stand down from both positions at that time and leave Barratt later in the year, after a short hand over period. 

Other disclosures required under Listing Rule 9.6.13 were made in the announcement dated 7th May 2009 and Barratt confirm that no further disclosure is required under this Listing Rule.
