Allotment of Shares

The Company announces that on 21 June 2002 it allotted and issued 67,012 new
ordinary shares of 10p each under the Offer for Subscription at a price of 107
pence per share.


The new shares increase the issued share capital to 40,938,198 ordinary shares.


An application for admission to listing has been made today in respect of the
67,012 new ordinary shares.
