REPURCHASE OF SHARES


The Board of Baronsmead VCT 2 plc announces that on 12 November 2002 the Company
purchased for cancellation 30,000 ordinary shares of 10p at a price of 85.0p.

Following this purchase there are now 40,951,575 ordinary shares of 10p in
issue.
