The Board of Baronsmead VCT 3 plc announces that on 24 March 2006 the Company
purchased 325,000 ordinary shares of 10p at a price of 105.50p.  These shares
will be held in Treasury.


Following this purchase there are now 33,052,392 ordinary shares of 10p in
issue. The Company's total listed shares are 35,092,392 ordinary shares of 10p.
