Dividend Reinvestment Scheme

The Company announces that on 30 September 2002 it issued 153,603 new ordinary
shares of 10p each under the Dividend Reinvestment Scheme at a price of 94.95p.
Trading in these additional shares is expected to commence on 1 October 2002 at
8.00 am.

These shares are allotted and issued under a block listing of 3,304,634 new
Ordinary Shares and the remaining balance will be allotted and issued on an
ongoing basis.
