Gold Oil, the AIM-listed oil and gas exploration and production company
primarily focused on opportunities in Latin America, announces that Mark
Pritchard, non-executive director, has resigned from the board with immediate
effect to pursue other business interests.

Commenting on the resignation, John Bell said "It is with reluctance that we
accept Mark's resignation, however we thank him for his valuable contribution as
both a former Chairman and director and we wish him all the best for his
future".
