A notice was received today from Advance Developing Markets Trust plc
advising that following the sale of 100,000 shares on 25 June 2004 it
has a total interest in 2,150,000 ordinary shares of £0.10 each in
Baring Emerging Europe PLC representing 4.85% of the relevant issued
share capital.
