Following a meeting of the Board held today, The Bankers Investment Trust PLC
declared a first quarterly dividend of 1.64p per ordinary share net (2000:
1.55p) in respect of the year ending 31 October 2001 payable on 31 May 2001 to
shareholders registered on 27 April 2001.
