During this morning's presentation to analysts on Santander in Latin America,
Mr. Francisco Luzon stated that in his opinion: (i) during the period 2006 /
2009, Income Before Tax from Santander's businesses in Latin America could grow
at an annual compound rate of around 25%, whilst Net Income would do so at more
than 20%, and (ii) for 2007, Income Before Tax could grow at around 25%, whilst
Net Income would do so between 20% and 25%.
