                              OTHER NOTIFICACIONS


As of today, a new version of the 2004 and 2005 Quarterly Series has been
published on the corporate website of Banco Santander Central Hispano, S.A.,
containing some minor modifications in certain items which do not affect neither
the profit nor the total balance of the Group. Such modifications have been made
in order to facilitate the comparative analysis of the historical series with
the quarterly data to be published starting as of the first quarter of 2006. A
detailed explanation of such modifications is contained on the corporate website
