In view of recent media speculation, Banco Santander informs that it has expressed to Deutsche Post, by way of an indicative offer subject to due diligence, its interest in commencing negotiations regarding a potential acquisition of Deutsche Post's stake in Postbank, extensive to 100% of the share capital of such bank.
