The Directors announce that options to subscribe for ordinary
shares of 5p in the capital of the Company at an exercise price
of 56p per share, being the market value immediately after the
issue of the interim report, were granted to the following
Directors on 28 October 1999:

The options are exercisable over the period from 20 January 2000
