Banco Santander, S.A. hereby announces that its Board of Directors resolved at its meeting today to leave record of the resignation presented by Mr. Francisco Luzón from his positions as director and member of the Executive Committee of the Bank, with effect from today's date. Mr. Francisco Luzón has taken voluntary pre-retirement, also ceasing to hold office as an Executive Vice President of the Bank and Head of its America Division
